Buyers picking up the pace

February to June is my favourite time of year in real estate. The weather is great, homes present at their best and people come back from their break having had the opportunity to sit down and make definite plans. The latter certainly seems to ring true for the buyers who were out in large numbers last weekend looking at fresh listings.

They are picking up the pace too!

To give you an example: Jason Trowbridge launched his‘Quintessential Ponsonby’ property in Lincoln Street last Thursday. You saw it first in last week's newsletter, it then went ‘live’ in diverse media starting that Friday. Jason saw over 40 groups visit the property on the weekend and sold it unconditionally by Monday (3 days on the market!) for our extremely happy vendor.

Another example straight from the local coal face: Jeanne Clayton and Steve King's Newton Apartment had been getting steady interest since launch, culminating into five offers being made yesterday, two of them unconditional, and the property was sold the same night well over C.V. with a most impressed vendor to boot!

Further sales:Jason also sold another Ponsonby gem in Summer Street, Dan Reed  sold 11 Powell Street in Avondale, and Rose Kirkwood is unstoppable with another two sales under her belt in the Shoalhaven complex.

New offerings this week – Jason Trowbridge is marketing a gem of an apartment in Beresford Street, Freeman’s Bay and Sue Doherty has an extremely tidy offering in Cleveland Road, Parnell.

Enjoy browsing our properties and don’t hesitate to contact us if we can assist in any way.
It’s no trouble, it’s our job.

Have a great long weekend

Things are heating up

Much like the temperature out there, the real estate coalface continues to be seriously heating up. Our front desk is experiencing a noticeable rise in enquiry from people wanting to register as buyers and our sales team are talking to plenty of buyers who have obviously switched from ‘holiday mode’ back to 'buying mode' and are impatiently looking to make a move on the right property.

If you are thinking of selling, don’t hesitate to contact your preferred Custom Residential property consultant direct to discuss your requirements.

Expansion

We are delighted to welcome Sue Doherty to our team. Sue has been a strong agent for a number of years and has a network that is the envy of most agents in the Auckland area.

Adding another string to our administrative bow, we also welcome Rosie de Malmanche on board. Rosie ensures our consultants have a very grunty sales support machine behind them.

This week we are proud to bring a number of beauties to the market. Jason Trowbridge has listed a lovely Summer Street property in Ponsonby, as well as 10 Lincoln Street also in Ponsonby and a big opportunity in Mt Eden. Sue Doherty offers a Parnell delight and we might just tempt you to move to Te Atatu South.

For those of you who loved the bach lifestyle over the break; do not miss Sue Hatton’s latest listing.

All of them feature in this newsletter, so please have a good browse and don’t hesitate to get in touch with the representing agents.

Have a great weekend

The Hilton penthouse - There is no other

Welcome back to reality! The holidays were great but it’s time to get back into the swing of things in 2010. In truth, things have not missed a beat for us on the local real estate scene. Custom Residential maintained serious selling momentum right through the festive season. Our buyers were definitely out in force and were willing to make decisions.

Vendors who want to hit the ground running in 2010 should talk to their favoured Custom Residential agent, because their phones are certainly ringing hot with genuine buyer enquiry.

Nic Blackie has just sold 15 Georgina Street, Sue Hatton has just sold 82 Wanganui Ave , Dan Reed has just sold 10 Katoa Street, Jeanne Clayton and Rex Worthington have just sold 15 Scanlan Street, Rose Kirkwood has just sold a property in Warnock Street and she also just closed another Shoalhaven apartment deal.

We are flat out !

If you want serious momentum right from the word ‘go’, talk to us. The team from Custom will showcase your property and give the treatment it deserves.

Our track record speaks for itself.

Have a great weekend.
