Jo comes to Custom from a solid background in sales and marketing, having done years of key account management and product development predominantly in the media industry.

Her most recent role was for a company that ran employment and immigration expos overseas to encourage more poms to come and live and work in NZ!

"At Custom Residential we’re not known to let things drift along," says business owner John Wills. "We’re totally focussed on taking service and results to the next level and Jo’s input and expertise will be another string to the Custom Residential bow. She’s here to help us be better at what we do on a daily basis."

Jo is thrilled to be back in the workforce in the exciting role of Head of Business Development for Custom Residential.

After a 2 year career break being a full-time mum, she spent some time searching for the right opportunity with the right company that holds the same values, and this finally paid off when the role at Custom came up. “I was attracted to Custom by its very apparent new and fresh approach to real estate,” says Jo. “Being able to be part of a young, dynamic and growing company also very much appealed to me.”

Having 12 years commercial experience behind her, Jo is great at building relationships, has a sound business acumen and has the ability to think creatively. She is more than ready to hit the ground running in her new career with Custom!

Jo came to NZ from the UK on a 12 month O.E. to check out life in the Southern Hemisphere and is still here over eight years later! Having lived in various suburbs around Auckland, she is now happily settled in West Lynn with her young son Jake. “It’s such a fab place to live with everything you need right on your door step including great cafes, bars and local parks, I love it!”

On a lighter note, Jo loves her wine and makes seriously good chocolate rum truffles! She really appreciates the NZ summer but misses traditional Christmas with her family back home. She enjoys lots of different sports and used to do boxing training so watch out!
