This real estate dynamo is in the peak of her career. A former Custom Residential Rookie of the Year, Robyn is a determined young gun who sets very high goals for herself and this translates into fantastic results for her clients. She is literally carving up the Kingsland slopes and has set umpteen street price records in that area (we've actually lost count!). A branding brain from way back, she understands how to position your property correctly in the market to help secure your best price. You can trust that she is going to do her absolute best by you and your property. RE is in her DNA… and it's her initials too!

Robyn, I really appreciated your high standards. Your presentation of my property was exceptional - the best I have ever seen in this bracket. Thank-you for an exceptional result, and in record time too!
Who will you get to sell your house?
Do you want a tip from me?
Robyn’s the one I’d recommend
To sell your property!
She’s excited by the challenge
She turns drudgery into fun
When she rungs her eye over your house
Who knows what it will become!
Going way beyond what I expected
She took my old rental in hand
And knowing what the market rejected
She organized cleaning and work, as we planned
When it was polished and gleaming
She filled it with flowers and fronds
With style and fashion and vision
She transformed “a lame duck” to a “swan”!
She styled the house with mirror
With candles and sofas and art
So that all who crossed the threshold
Knew that this was a house with a heart
She networked in the local community
With enthusiasm, passion and style
Attentive to detail and available
Always ready to go the next mile
As an owner she gave me good measure
With feedback and phone calls overseas
I relaxed and enjoyed a good holiday
Knowing Robyn was safe with the keys!
She left nothing to chance in her dealings
To the purchasers she extended her aid
She gave them access for quotes and new tenants
Well after their deal was made
And the deal was made in heaven
Nine hundred and fifty to bank
And the bidders were smiling and happy
Which left only Robyn to thank
So if you are wanting an agent
Hardworking, creative and fun
Take my word and choose Robyn
Before long, you’ll find the job done!

Thanks Robyn, Clive and I have been impressed with your professionalism, enthusiasm and regular communications throughout our listing and marketing process. The price we received for Bright St was beyond our expectations, but it is your handling of the sale that we most appreciate.
Feeling dubious about using an agent because of cost we were going to attempt to sell our property ourselves. After meeting Robyn and being impressed with her knowledge of the neighbourhood, her energy, motivation and creativity we didn't look back. Robyn was worth every penny, is hard working, sold our house in less than a week and got us a very good price.
As first time home sellers she supported us through what is an overwhelming process and reassured us with her confidence and professionalism. We couldn't have done it without her.
We recommend Robyn to everyone - all agents should be like this.
Robyn explored every option possible for the sale of my ex-rental property in Kingsland. Unbeknownst to me the property had been poorly managed by my property manager for several years and the house had gotten into bad shape.
Before going to sale, Robyn sat down with me and explored every option to achieve the best outcome, whether to spend some money on fixing the property up or selling as is. After much consideration and her monitoring the market temperature towards do-up opportunities, we decided to bite the bullet and sell the home as is.
Robyn gave me regular updates over the course of the campaign and was prepared to adapt the strategy to suit market conditions. After the first weekend of open homes, she advised me to change my strategy to an auction campaign. I was initially against the idea, but she explained the reasoning behind it well. The auction enabled us to add some urgency from our side and push interested parties to either put in a pre-auction offer or wait and see what the market would pay on auction day.
As it happened we received a pre-auction offer that sealed the deal and I am now able to move onto my next project. Honesty, high integrity and complete dedication to getting my property sold, Robyn never drifted from the task at hand when things got tough… She just got stuck in and closed the deal. I wouldn’t use any other agent.
When we first met Robyn we were slightly dubious as to how successful she might be at trying to sell our property. But as she was willing to work within our stringent requirements (10 days to achieve a sale with no marketing budget) we were willing to give her a shot. Needless to say we were quite surprised to find her presenting an offer just shy of our dream figure some 24 hours later. We're experience developers in the property game and we know the mark of a good agent. Persistence, tenacity and stealth negotiation is what's required. She might look sweet, but she's certainly no push over when it comes to achieving a top sale result for her vendors. Highly recommend.
Buying our first home was so daunting, all the paper work and buyers jargon was enough to keep us renting for the rest of our lives!! Robyn took care of these elements for us and we simply had to ready our finances. Robyn, being of a first buyers age bracket understands and sympathises with the huge financial decision this has on a young couple. I’d recommend her to anyone looking to buy their first home in Auckland.
We had been looking in the area for a while with a view to buying our first home. We had made an offer on another property a month or two previously but the deal fell over, partly we felt due to a lack of adequate follow up from the agent managing the sale. I was surprised to find out later that this property still hadn't sold and had since been taken off the market.
Robyn couldn't be more different an agent. Proactive, she rang us the same day we'd viewed another property in the area to find out exactly what we were looking for and then told us about another property she'd listed just that day that seemed to match our criteria. As it turned out it was exactly what we were looking for and she worked hard to make it happen for us. She took our offer that day and three days later the salewent unconditional. It couldn’t have been easier and we’d recommend her to anyone serious about selling their home.
The process of selling your house is overwhelming at the best of times, so understandably when we were choosing an agent to represent our best interests; we took this process very seriously. We met with several agents and they all delivered their best speeches, promising the greatest of intentions, but what made Robyn and Custom Residential stand out from the crowd was Robyn’s ability to listen and cater to our situation and her spirited enthusiasm for Eden Terrace.
Living at the opposite end of the country meant we needed total faith in our agent and Robyn instilled this from day one.
Robyn’s knowledge on the area is impressive and her motivation is second to none. Adding this to Custom Residential’s impeccable, first class marketing campaign makes a winning combination.
We were confident we would get a result with Robyn’s help, but we were pleasantly surprised with the quick, favorable results she was able to produce. In one week, with one open home and strategic marketing we had an offer that quickly became unconditional.
Robyn made the whole process effortless. Always happy to talk and share a laugh but equally at home with the sensitive serious matters.
Without hesitation, we recommend Robyn and Custom Residential to all prospective buyers and sellers in the Eden Terrace / city suburbs area.
Robyn’s enthusiasm, drive and real passion she has for property and her career came through from day one. This infectiousness definitely rubs off on potential buyers and helped to get them excited about the property and in the end we had multiple offers on the table all within the first 14 days of the campaign.
Throughout, the process was clean and well managed. She recommended and devised a cost effective and well targeted marketing strategy that obviously hit the right people with huge turnouts to open homes and a quick sale. Her background in marketing definitely shone through here.
She kept me very well informed at every step and gave me detailed market feedback that was essential to me making an informed decision on the final sale price we achieved. She definitely worked hard and I know put all her energies into negotiating the best deal for me.
Long established agents in the market better watch out because I believe she represents a new breed of agent. Young, energetic, down with modern marketing methods, trustworthy and reliable… there is no bullshit with Robyn, only hard work and results that speak for themselves.
Robyn Ellson is a spirited and creative marketer who approaches each task with great conscientiousness and energy. She has an impressive knack for creating creative promotional plans, presentations and budgets under pressure. Robyn is particularly notable for her ability to marshal a wide range of reliable suppliers and to manage them well through difficult deadlines and dynamic situations.
Robyn was part of the Bullet PR team working on the 2degrees mobile account.
Throughout the time I worked with Robyn she was instrumental in organising a number of media events for the company including the launch of 2degrees' 3G network and the launch of a new android handset. Robyn approached both events with creativity, attention to detail and demonstrated fantastic project management skills.
Robyn is thoughtful, creative, organised and incredibly personable.
If it’s desirable outcomes you’re after, look no further: Robyn Ellson is the woman for the job.
With a strong background in marketing strategy and project management, Robyn knows like no other the level of organisation and strong attention to detail required for the project that is the sale of your home.
This was evident in her role as Campaign Manager at Marketing Agency Copper, where she had full responsibility for managing Coca Cola’s nationwide Glaceau Vitaminwater campaign. “I delivered a complex campaign in an extremely short timeframe,” says Robyn. “My attention to detail, ability to juggle various tasks at once and excellent problem solving skills enabled the campaign to be a success.”
Switching to real estate, Robyn sees a strong parallel between project management and real estate marketing and sales. “In my view, the launch of a property is actually an event. It’s more than being present at an open home, taking down buyers’ names and asking if they are interested. It takes considered and detailed planning with lots of energy behind it to generate the best possible launch for your property. The way I see it, my vendor’s home is right up there with Coca Cola when it comes to the importance of a well managed campaign resulting in client satisfaction.”
Working at Bullet PR, which was recently bought by Ogilvy, taking on roles such as Event Manager for the 2degrees media-launch of their new 3G service, reinforced Robyn’s natural inclination for total accountability and getting on with the job. “It is important for the person running the project to take responsibility and take ownership. My accountability stops when the desired outcome has been reached – in this case: the sale of your property at the best possible price.”
Oodles of experience in the field of marketing strategy means Robyn is entirely on the money when it comes to developing a tailored and individual campaign solution for selling your home. She’s not shy of using digital media either, considerably strengthening the on-line profile of your home.
On a personal note, Robyn loves property and is currently in the middle of renovating the warehouse apartment she owns in Arch Hill. “It wasn’t much to look at at first – a sort of Soviet Russia meets ‘80s office space, but we’re now about half way through the renovation and it’s really coming together.”
Fresh, motivated, and sharp, Robyn really knows her stuff and her batteries pretty much never run flat (we’re a bit intimidated by her Auckland Half Marathon time of 1:43) – don’t you feel it is exactly this kind of energy you need to have on board?
